At the Lamara Coffee & Kitchen in New Orleans, Johnny King display a selection of his recent works that are not just beautiful, colorful images, they represent his own inner and outer journey, and seek to draw the viewer in to participate in that journey.

Once I walked into the store in the Central West End in St Louis I knew I wanted to collaborate with Bonobos on an exhibition. It was a privilege and an honor to display my work amongst a clothing line that I myself wear on the daily. We had a great turn out at the opening and it was a pleasure to show work again in my hometown.

After an opening of my minimalist work at Lamara I knew that Hey Cafe would be the perfect location for a new series of more involved works. I love creating a body of work with a specific location in mind and I absolutely loved how this exhibition came together.
